Several years ago, Bordiga (our friends from Cuneo, Italy) and Opyos met through a shared passion for botanicals, exceptional spirits, good food and time spent in nature. Since then, we have reunited each year to exchange ideas and celebrate these moments. This Amaro is the expression of that tradition.

Our Amaro is crafted using traditional artisanal and entirely natural methods, using infusions and distillates made from fine spices, herbs and flowers, most of which come from the Maritime Alps.

A distinctly herbaceous and inviting nose, opening with fresh alpine herbs and delicate floral aromas. Notes of mint, lemon balm and wildflowers bring freshness, while juniper and coriander add complexity and depth.
Full and expressive, with a pleasant bitterness at its core. Gentian, wormwood and génépi are complemented by softer floral and aromatic notes of yarrow, angelica and thyme. The different botanicals unfold gradually, creating a layered character that balances freshness, bitterness and warmth.
Long, dry and persistent. The herbal bitterness lingers elegantly, accompanied by subtle notes of cinchona, juniper and clove. A gentle warmth remains on the palate, inviting another sip.

Enjoy our Amaro neat at room temperature to appreciate its full aromatic complexity, or over a large cube of ice for a softer, refreshing expression - an ideal digestif after a good meal. As an aperitif, serve it with premium tonic water over plenty of ice and garnish with a slice of lemon, allowing the tonic to lift its herbal and floral notes while complementing its pleasant bitterness.
