How we started
The Opyos team joined the world of distilling in the Fall of 2016. Our gin had started out as just a spontaneous idea amongst three friends at the bar, where else of course, and we had the feeling that we were onto something special. Our enthusiasm, innovative and creative ideas, along with the valuable insights from local industry experts, enabled us to craft a unique product full of character.

The start of Opyos Luxembourg Dry Gin
After months of extensive research, distillery visits and a great deal of testing, the plan was ready and the company was established.
Opyos Luxembourg Dry Gin was officially launched at the open house day of a local winery. Long days and nights of conceptualising, recipe development and testing bore fruit. Our first batch was sold out within five days.
With the production of over 25 batches, partnerships with key players, and the presence in over 50 bars & restaurants, we can proudly say that we managed to establish our gin in the local gastronomic scene.
Our long awaited second product hits the shelves. The first release of our Opyos Cask Aged Gin is limited to 1.200 bottles.
